Commercial Engine Warranty: Tailored warranty solutions for commercial engines. At Brother Auto Parts, we take pride in providing quality used engines and transmissions to customers nationwide. Our commitment to excellence extends to our comprehensive return policy. When returning any items to our Used Parts Yard, we request that customers provide a detailed explanation for the return, allowing us to understand the situation better. If a part is sent back that doesn't meet the criteria outlined in our warranty policy; a 25% restocking fee will be charged from the total paid amount.

Please note that Used Parts Yard won't be responsible if a customer refuses to receive the product at the address provided at the time of purchase. To ensure satisfaction and accuracy, we strongly recommend consulting with a specialist or a body expert before placing an order to ensure that the correct part is requested. Communication is key in this process, and we're here to assist you with any inquiries. We must emphasize that if an incorrect order is placed, we cannot initiate a refund or accept a return, so your due diligence in order is appreciated. All products must be returned within 30 days from the delivery date, keeping them in their original condition.

We are pleased to offer free shipping on our used engines nationwide. This service underscores our dedication to providing value to our customers. However, please be aware that domestic delivery will incur an additional charge of $75, with no pallet charges.

In our continued efforts to serve our customers, please be mindful that all used engines and canceled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fee. The customer will assume all shipping costs unless UEAT authorizes a replacement during the warranty period. If an order is canceled after payment has been processed and before shipping, the customer will be responsible for the credit card processing fees.

At Brother Auto Parts, we offer confidence and assurance that our products will function as intended. With our guarantee, you can trust that all moving parts will operate smoothly, gears will shift seamlessly, and bearings will work efficiently.

Before assembly, we meticulously clean every transmission component, including the oil pan. This attention to detail ensures that each part functions at its optimal level. In automatic transmissions, we replace both the oil and filter, renewing the system's efficiency. Seals and gaskets are replaced before installation, ensuring a secure fit and performance. We take the extra step to flush and flow-test coolers and lines, guaranteeing unobstructed flow. Torque converters fully engage with the front pump, providing reliable torque transmission.

For manual transmissions, we insist on installing new clutches, pressure plates, and slave cylinders. The flywheel is turned before installation to ensure optimal balance and functionality. Proper fluid levels are also maintained, providing the transmission with the necessary lubrication for smooth operation. It is essential to note that while we take great care with all components, there is no guarantee that seals in turbos will be flawless. However, these seals may be changed within a specified time frame in accordance with our policies.

Our warranty specifically covers the door shell, not the accessories such as windows, window regulators, handles, hinges, or interior panels. Other body parts, like hoods, fenders, bumpers, quarter panels, and header panels, are not guaranteed to include extras like hinges, hood ornaments, locks, trim, headlights, or grilles. Should there be a mismatch of color when requesting a specific shade for a body part, please note that it won't be covered under warranty or considered a reason for return. However, we understand the importance of a cohesive appearance, so we offer to repaint the body part to match your vehicle.

We want to ensure that every product you receive from us meets your expectations, and our detailed guarantee reflects our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Our team is always available to assist if you have any questions about our products or warranty. Thank you for choosing Brother Auto Parts, where precision and excellence drive us

We aim to provide transparency in our offerings and help you understand the intricacies of our products. We acknowledge that certain components, such as the water pump, distributor cap, spark plugs, and wires, may be classified as high-wear parts or items that might not have been diagnosed correctly. Therefore, these may require replacement. When it comes to our engines, they come fully assembled, including manifolds, oil pan, timing covers, and either fuel injection or the carburetor. However, please be aware that our guarantee specifically applies only to the long block. Components like manifolds, gaskets, seals, hoses, oil pan, timing covers, belts, fuel injection, or the carburetor are outside the scope of the warranty.

You must recognize that you purchase quality engines and transmissions from us, constructed with care and precision. Regarding electrical items, such as Engine Computers, Body Control Modules, transmission modules, or transfer case modules, please note that these are not intended for testing purposes. We guarantee these have the correct manufacturer part number, and all electrical items are covered by a replacement warranty only. Should a non-working module be encountered, we will send up to one replacement to rectify the issue. Sometimes, a module may require a reset through a certified dealer. If this occurs, the part cannot be returned until the dealer verifies that the piece has been handled and improved properly. Any alterations to an electrical part may nullify the opportunity for return, emphasizing our commitment to maintaining the integrity of our products.

Warranty May Be Voided Under

Your peace of mind is paramount to us, and our warranty reflects our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. However, please be mindful that the warranty may be cancelled under certain circumstances, as outlined below:

  • Improper Installation: The warranty may become void if the used engine is not installed correctly, adhering to professional standards and guidelines.
  • Racing Usage: Using the engine for racing or other extreme-performance activities negates the warranty, as it subjects the components to stresses beyond regular use.
  • Improper Lubrication or Cooling: The warranty will not apply if the used engine and transmission are operated without the necessary lubrication or cooling, regardless of the underlying cause.
  • Installation Delays: The warranty will be forfeited if the purchased used engine is not installed within 30 days of delivery.
  • One-Time Claim Policy: UEAT's warranty covers only one claim per product purchased from us. We aim to ensure that your first experience is flawless, reflecting the quality we strive for.
  • Original Purchaser Only: UEAT's warranties and deals are intended solely for the original purchaser. We guarantee that our sold used engine will be free from knocking, excessive oil consumption, and cracks in the block, aligning with the auto terms and conditions that other reputable suppliers follow.

Our warranty claim representatives are dedicated to working closely with you to make your experience successful. We reserve the right to charge applicable fees in connection with processing your warranty claim. We value your trust and strive to uphold the highest integrity and customer care standards.

Guidelines For Used Engine

Our new policy, which shall apply to both current and former users of our Website and supersede any inconsistent or conflicting earlier policies, is referred to as a "used engine." It's important to note that we reserve the right to edit or modify this Privacy Policy anytime. As such, we strongly encourage you to review this page frequently for updates.

We provide a one-time labor warranty claim for the products you buy from us as the cornerstone of our service. This highlights our dedication to quality and client happiness. Please be aware that you may only submit one labor warranty claim for any given product. This prohibition on making additional claims for the same device is intended to promote fairness and uphold the credibility of our warranty program.

Engine Warranty

Our warranty at Brother Auto Parts, valid to all components, is a monument to our dedication to quality and client pleasure.

Please be aware of the important details of our warranty:

  • Non-Transferable Warranty: The original purchaser is the only party covered by our warranty; subsequent owners are not permitted.
  • Quality Transmission & Installation Requirements: The warranty will be voided if the item is improperly installed or if repairs or replacements have been made to any used engine components, including but not limited to the cooling, fuel, electrical, engine control system, ignition system, belts, hoses, and filters.
  • Racing and Competition Exclusions: The warranty does not cover used engines used for racing, competition, or related purposes.
  • Modifications & Non-Conforming Parts: If a used engine has been altered, repaired, or remodeled with parts not conforming to original manufacturer specifications, the warranty will be voided.
  • Overheating & Lubrication Issues: Any damage to the used engine due to overheating or lack of proper lubrication will negate the warranty.
  • Heat Tabs: The return of a used engine with missing or melted heat tabs will render the warranty void.

The UEAT warranty does not apply to initial installations. A UEAT warranty technician must submit and authorize any claims before any work is performed. All required documentation must be submitted within 5 business days of the claim; otherwise, the claim will be denied without exception. Immediate discontinuation of vehicle use is required once an issue or problem has been identified; failure to do so will void the warranty.

These warranty details reflect our dedication to upholding quality and transparency in our services. We stand by our products and aim to provide a seamless experience for our valued customers.

Limited Liability & Assurances

UEAT's commitment to customer satisfaction is deeply rooted in our business principles, yet our customers need to understand the scope of our liability. Our responsibility extends solely to supplying high-quality, low-mileage used engines or, if necessary, refunding the customer's purchase price.

Warranty Assurance: We provide a comprehensive warranty for our engines and transmissions without regard to mileage. Our warranty coverage is grounded in our extensive knowledge and meticulous evaluation of our products. We stand by their quality and ensure satisfaction consistent with our industry standards.

Exclusions & Constraints: UEAT is not liable for additional costs or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, labor costs, engine oil replacement, transmission fluid and antifreeze replenishment, towing charges, telephone calls, freight, loss of profits or time, substitute transportation, or any damage to other engine or transmission parts. Moreover, we are not accountable for any failure stemming from improper installation, modifications to the product, faulty or incompatible parts and accessories, or abnormal use or operation.

Odometer Mileage Considerations: While state and federal regulations oversee odometer mileage for most used automobiles, it is worth noting that determining the exact mileage for used engines and transmissions is not practically feasible. Engines are often transferred separately from the original vehicles in which they were initially installed, making precise mileage assessment unattainable. As such, all mileage representations should be considered estimates.

Customer Consultation & Support: We offer comprehensive consultation and support to ensure that our customers are well-informed about the products they purchase. Our experts are available to provide insights, answer questions, and offer guidance tailored to individual needs and preferences.

Quality Assurance & Inspection Process: Every product we supply undergoes rigorous inspection and quality assurance. This ensures the items are consistent with our high standards, allowing us to offer such extensive warranties.

We take pride in our transparent approach, committed to offering top-notch products and the knowledge, support, and understanding that ensure a positive experience for our customers. Our limitations are aligned with industry norms and are part of our continuing efforts to provide the best possible service within those bounds.

Installation Setup Instructions

Kindly Peruse Before Installation

A series of steps ought to be adhered to prior to the installation and initiation of a reprocessed engine or transmission. It is consistently necessary to execute specific examinations, swap out accessories as required, and follow a routine maintenance schedule to ensure continuous, trouble-free service. Certain used engine parts and components have been intentionally left attached for your convenience. These added accessories may expedite your installation process; however, it remains the responsibility of the skilled installer to manage parts and accessory transitions. All parts, including change-over accessories and wear and tear items, have been left on the engine block for your convenience and are not covered under the warranty agreement. For any further questions regarding the warranty or other queries, please don't hesitate to visit our website.
